Change in Management

As our clinic continues to grow and evolve, the role of head nurse has significantly expanded into broader clinic management duties. To better support both the nursing team and the overall operations of the clinic, we have decided to separate the role into two positions; Clinic Manager and Head nurse. Helena, our previous head nurse, will be moving into the role of Clinic Manager – focusing on clinic administration and business operations.

And we are pleased that Jemma will be stepping into the Head Nurse position. This role will be highly involved in day-to-day nursing coordination, managing and supporting our nursing team. Jemma will work closely with both Helena and Vicky to ensure the clinic continues to operate smoothly and maintain high standards and patient care while both continuing to work as part of the clinical nursing team.

AI-Assisted Notes Trial

We’re currently trialing AIassisted notetaking in our consult rooms to support our vets. Microphones record the audio during consultations, which is then transcribed into clinical notes by AI. These notes are always reviewed and edited by the vet. This technology has already helped improve clinic workflow by reducing time spent typing, allowing our team to focus more on patient care. If you’d rather not be recorded, no problem at all - simply let your vet know at the start of the consultation.

Ordering

Just a headsup that we’re reducing the frequency of our ordering throughout the week due to rising wholesaler costs and fuel prices. If your pet requires medication or a prescription diet, please be aware that it may take a little longer for items to be back in stock.

Lap Spays

Laparoscopic bitch spays are now available! Our new specialized equipment has arrived, and we’re excited to start taking bookings. Visit our website or blog to learn more.
